I denne weekend fik vores kunstprojekt Art@Tings det helt store gennembrud!

Aditya Aryals deltagelse på Viborg International Billboard Festival 2015 er ikke alene kulminationen af Art@Tings mere end 5 års samarbejde med Aditya. Jeg vil gå så vidt at påstå, at det også er en kæmpe begivenhed for Nepalesisk Kunst.

Alt hvad vi – i de 6 år, vi har levet i Kathmandu – har set af kunst fra Nepal (udenfor landets grænser) har en Developing Country-label påklistret. Der er altid en organisation og/eller en ambassade indblandet.

Det gør kunsten kedelig og forudsigelig. Det er som om, alle kunstnere laver kunst for at please kulturstøtten, frem for at lave det, de brænder for.

Mens jeg venter paa inspirationen
